The CLEPSYDRA Project aims to design, develop and bring to market a new generation of certified Galileo-based timing receivers, ensuring secure, resilient and high-accuracy time synchronization for critical infrastructures.

By leveraging the forthcoming Galileo Second Generation (G2G) capabilities, including the Timing Service Message (TSM) and Open Service Navigation Message Authentication (OS-NMA), CLEPSYDRA will enable a European-standardized timing service fully compliant with CEN/CENELEC EN 16605:2024.

The project’s mission is to strengthen Europe’s technological autonomy in precise time and synchronization services, delivering a cost-efficient, high-performance receiver platform (TRL 7/8) that supports essential domains such as energy, telecommunications, finance, and governmental networks, safeguarding their operational continuity against cyber and geopolitical threats
